Funeral Service Webcasting

Face it. Webcasting funeral services is going to be in high demand in the near future. And why not? Webcasting offers a brilliant way to deliver services to friends, family and acquaintances across the globe. It's much appreciated by those who can't, for whatever reason, attend a service in person. Perhaps one who is overseas in the military, or simply unable to afford the time or cost of travel.

Build Custom Webcast Pages Easily

Custom Memorial Web Page

Our service allows clients to build custom memorial webpages on the fly, for each and every service, making it very easy for visitiors to connect to the event. The pages are custom formatted automatically to fit your funeral home's appeal.

If you already manage your own memorial page, you may contact us via phone or email letting us know of an upcoming webcast. We will pull the appropriate information from your website and build the webcast page for you. Talk about effortless! And again, at no additional fee.

As a bonus for being a member, you may also use our online memorial service page creator without streaming a webcast at all. This is a great benefit to funeral homes that currently do not have websites or services dynamic enough to manage personal memorial pages. And again, it doesn't cost a penny! You are only charged for live webcast events.

Point & Click Webcast Service

Things don't have to be difficult and our process definitely isn't. Stand your camera on a tripod, hook the camera into a laptop and start recording. Your data will upload live through one simple program that is always set to go. There are no fussy calendar management tools or technical protocols to overcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of equipment will I need?

Some funeral homes may already have everything they need to get started. Three things:

  1. A camera with a USB or firewire port that connects to a laptop
  2. Laptop or netbook with wireless card
  3. High-speed wireless connection

Most companies already have a high-speed connection, or they can buy a wireless router if they have an internet connection. Also, most churches have high speed wireless connections, so you can webcast just about anywhere.

A complete package with camera, laptop, tripod and cables will run between $900 to $1,500. Call us and we will help guide you to get what you specifically need to get started.

How much does it cost?

Each webcast costs $40, with a commitment of one webcast per month. This "reserves" your broadband space through our live servers. We will bill you at the end of each month. You may, of course, use the memorial service free of charge, even if you do not webcast.

How much do I sell it for?

You are free to charge the family whatever you deem appropriate for this service. Some of our members offer it free or at cost, or in certain packages, or just as an additional fee of $99 or more. It's entirely up to you, your market and how you intend to utilize the service.

Is there a limit to how many webcasts I can do a month?

No, never.

Will you help me set up?

We will walk you through every step of the process, including testing, at no charge. Once you've done one, you've "done 'em all," as they say. You'll learn just how easy it is and will become very familiar with it, very quickly. We will always be available should you have any issues.

How long will my contract last?

There is no contract and you may discontinue service at any time, no charge. We simply ask, while you are signed on as a member, to commit to one webcast service per month. This offsets the cost of reserving your bandwidth. We reserve enough bandwidth for every client to ensure streams are vivid and uninterrupted.
