A Celebration of Life and Worship Service for Todd Russell Augsburger will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, 234 N. Main St., Kenton by the Rev. Peter Paige.

There will be no visitation.

He died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1957 in Bluffton to Russell and Jean (Archer) Augsburger and his mother, Mary Jean Butturff, survives in Lima. On July 30, 1978, he married Betty Nowlan in Kenton and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are a sister, Twyla (Tom) Losh of Ohio City; uncle and aunt, Vernon (Margery) Neff of Hume and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Augsburger and a step-father, Clair Butturff.

He was a 1975 graduate of Kenton High School and a 1979 graduate of the Ohio Northern University.

He retired from AllMax Software Inc. in Kenton and was previously the owner of Precious Promises Christian Book Store.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kenton, where he was active in Sunday School and music ministries.

The Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kenton Neighborhood Opportunity Center and/or Hardin County Hospice.

    Betty, I was shocked when I seen that Todd had passed away, I didn't know that He had been ill. My deepest sympathy goes out to you during this very trying time in your life. You know God will walk you thru this and will continue to comfort you today and always. I am so sorry for your loss. If you ever want a friend to chat with just call me.
