Harold and Rose Massey, owners of Massey Funeral Homes, would like to welcome you to our Web site. Harold has been in funeral service since 1973.

Harold L. Massey was born in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Harold's father died when Harold was only six years old. It looked as though death came often to the Massey family and through this experience Harold became interested in funeral service. Harold always remembered how kind and considerate the funeral directors were to his family. Harold knew, even back then, what he wanted to become in life....a funeral director.

After finishing high school, Harold sought work at one of the local funeral homes and there he began to serve his apprenticeship, the first stage in becoming a funeral director. In 1976, his dream became real when he received his funeral directors license.

In 1988, Harold purchased Jackson Funeral Home. In 1997, Harold built a new facility in Aulander, NC. In 2003, Harold and his wife Rose, purchased the former Branch Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, NC and 2007 they purchased the former Branch Funeral Home in Enfield, NC.

Harold and Rose, one of a very few husband and wife funeral directors, have served many families over the past thirty plus years and we will continue to do so. Our promise to our families is to provide them with the most sincere, compassionate service, and the most affordable service in the area.
