Keith Eugene Emmons

Keith Eugene Emmons, age 77 of LaRue, OH, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 28, 2012.  He was born to Ralph E. and Ida Mary (Armstrong) Emmons, in Marion on December 23, 1934.  He was a 1953 graduate of LaRue High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.  After 50 years as a crib attendant, Keith retired in 2006 from Whirlpool.  He enjoyed gardening and wood cutting.  Keith is survived by his former spouse, Mary Ann Emmons, his daughter, Julie Ann Emmons, his son, Travis Keith Emmons, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Preceding him in death were his parents, as well as one sister, and one brother.  Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, January, 31, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM, officiated by Brother Carl Westlake, with internment following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
