Clarence A. “Bobby” Hicks, Jr., age 48, is free. Bobby passed away on January 27, 2012.  He was born July 17, 1963. Bobby was known for his love, for his family, and for his kind heart to others.  Bobby will be missed and loved by all the people’s hearts and souls he touched.  He is survived by: Connie J. Simmons (mother) of Marion, OH; brothers, Raymond & Angela Hicks, Marion, and Michael & Gelinda Hicks, San Angelo, TX; sisters, Annette M. Hicks, Marion, and Judy & Michael Ackers, Marion; children, Bobby Hicks, Timothy Hicks, and Stacey Hicks; step-children, Jacklyn Colpitts, Aurora and Josh Lewis, and Zane Kyser-Hicks; grandchildren, Mya Hicks, Boston Hicks, Donovan Criswell, Dalton Criswell, Natalie Criswell, Ian Kyser, Allyson Clark, Jeron Greenwalt-Lewis, Julia Lewis, Ava Lewis, Bryson Kyser, and Allyha Kyser, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.  Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Hicks, stepmother, Helen Hicks, stepfather, James M. Simmons, and sister, Tracy Jo Hicks.  Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 5-9PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor John Jones on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1PM, also at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, with internment following at Chapel Heights Cemetery.  Family and friends are welcome to attend a dinner following the funeral service at the Moose Lodge on N. Main St. in Marion.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
