Seth "Seffy G." Garrick Marr
Seth “Seffy G.” Garrick Marr died Saturday, August 14, 2010 at his residence at the age of 31. He was born July 11, 1979 in Marion to Gerald Marr and Carol (Oiler) Murphy. On March 5, 2010 in Marion he married Angela Temple.
Seth loved football and liked rooting for the Michigan Wolverines. He was a hard worker and especially enjoyed working on cars.
Seth is survived by his wife Angela Marr of Marion; son, Kaleb Marr of New Bloomington; step children, Jayden and Abbigail Roach of Marion; father, Gerald (Johnna) Marr of Marion; mother, Carol (Bob) Murphy of Marion; maternal grandmother, Edith Oiler; paternal grandfather, Gerald Marr, Sr.; brother, Chad (Sarah Sanborn) Miller of Marion; sister, Nicole Dunn of Marion; mother-in-law, Dawnzee D’Angelo; step-brother, Cory Hopkins; step-sister, Jillian Hopkins; cousin, Brandon Valentine; nephews, Trey, Austin, Isaac, Jagger, Garrick, Gage, Gunner, and Kameron; nieces, Brooklynn, Ashya, Madison, and Sierra; and best friend, Shaun Barnett.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 18 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Allis will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
